A picturesque woodland with picnic tables offering stunning views of the city.
This park, just behind the Monasterio de Pedralbes, is a picturesque woodland with splendid views of the city and the sea. Whilst it’s not as high as Tibidabo, it is arguable a better place to relax and take in the views, given the picnic benches, the surrounding trees of different species and its tranquility.
If you’re travelling from the centre, you can reach the park on foot in about an hour and a half going straight along Avinguda Diagonal. Whilst this is one of the busiest streets in Barcelona, it is also extremely attractive and green, and home to many interesting shops and several lesser known Gaudí buildings. It is definitely worth the trip out of town to enjoy a picnic lunch here.
